A Thanksgiving Day Card

Today, the forth Thursday of November, is American Thanksgiving Day, on which Americans give thanks for what they have had and gained in their life. I hand-made this leaf-shaped avocado-red-yellow (autumn colors) card to give to a friend to say how grateful I am for our friendship and was happy to see how the friend treasures ours, too. Simply love the moments when something unvoiced and deep down inside has an ‘official’ chance to be voiced. Also wish Vietnam had such a day and ” it would be great if every country had a day devoted to giving thanks, even if it doesn’t include turkey, pumpkin pie and sweet potatoes.” (Quoted on friend’s words).
